I'm a storyteller and word-nerd in the Toronto area.
For more than 20 years, I've written for, and about, businesses, government and post-secondary institutions. I write case studies, newsletters, feature articles, annual reports, speeches, web pages, press releases, brochures, blogs, social media posts and more.
My background is in magazines (enRoute, Canadian Business, International Architecture & Design, to name a few) and employee communications (writing and editing for Thomson Newspapers' corporate communications department).
I get my kicks out of turning dense, complicated material into appealing, understandable copy and fast-tracking to the human angle of every story.
I'm also a sharp copy editor, plain-language fan and proofreader. My clients have included Queen's University, Saskatchewan Polytechnic, University of Toronto Magazine, P&G Canada and York Region.
